Individual Counseling
Life can feel overwhelming at times. You may find yourself caught in patterns of anxiety, overthinking, self-criticism, or uncertainty about how to move forward. Perhaps you're navigating a difficult relationship, a major life transition, or a decision that feels too important to get wrong. Sometimes, you may simply feel stuck and want a space to better understand yourself and create meaningful change.
In individual counseling, I work collaboratively with clients to increase self-awareness, develop practical skills, and build greater psychological flexibility—the ability to respond more effectively to difficult thoughts, emotions, and circumstances while staying connected to what matters most.
My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other evidence-based practices. Together, we will explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, identify values that can guide your decisions, and develop new ways of responding to life's challenges.
Common concerns I help clients address include:
Anxiety and chronic worry
Stress and overwhelm
Relationship difficulties
Life transitions and adjustment
Self-criticism and perfectionism
Communication challenges
Decision-making and uncertainty
Personal growth and self-understanding
Therapy is not about becoming a different person. It is about developing a deeper understanding of yourself and learning how to move toward the life you want, even when difficult thoughts and emotions are part of the journey.
